Description
This KIWA-certified, CE-marked cabinet is specifically designed for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries, capable of accommodating a wide range of battery types and sizes, including those used in electric bikes, e-scooters, hand tools, drones, communication devices (such as walkie-talkies and radios), and more.
Constructed with a reinforced frame and clad in KIWA-certified 18mm magnesium oxide board, the cabinet is equipped with a temperature detection system and two smoke detectors, providing early detection of thermal runaway events. In the event of such an incident, the system automatically triggers the fire suppression system, activates the audio/visual alarm, and cuts power to the chargers. Meanwhile, the ventilation system closes, and the pressure relief valve activates as needed. The cabinet’s 90-minute fire resistance ensures that the event is contained, buying you valuable time to safely evacuate staff, protect your facility, and bring in trained firefighters.
For added safety and convenience, MyLoxxer intelligent software enables you to monitor the cabinet’s status 24/7. Through the intuitive platform, accessible via computer or mobile, you can view key parameters such as temperature, door position, and more. The system also allows you to receive notifications via SMS, such as when smoke is detected or if the "door open" feature is triggered, notifying you if the door has been open for more than 5 minutes and activating an onsite alarm.
The temperature detection system automatically cuts power to the chargers if the temperature rises above 50°C, while simultaneously activating the alarm to prevent overheating and reduce the risk of thermal runaway events.
