Romold are proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness month this October. We are committed to donating £10 to Breast Cancer Now for every pink BP4L - Low Drum Spill Pallet sold
In the UK, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer. Around 55,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK - one diagnosis every 10 minutes. And this doesn't just affect women.
Male breast cancer can show similar symptoms as it does in women, which can include a lump. If you notice something unusual, whether male or female, then you must contact your Doctor. Survival rates and treatment for men with breast cancer are very similar to those for women but early detection increases treatment options and often reduces the risk of dying from breast cancer.
The fight against this illness is ongoing. Whilst we, as a country, are making fantastic breakthroughs in research and improving survival rates, 11,500 people a year still die from the illness - a figure that is unacceptable.
At Romold, our support of Breast Cancer Now will see £10 from each of our pink spill pallet sold go directly to helping fund the care to people in their time of need. Their nurses make it possible for people living with any terminal illness to die peacefully at home, surrounded by the people that mean the most to them. They can visit during the day or spend the night to give carers a break.
Find out how you can support us by visiting the BP4L or contacting our Sales Manager Sandra Geddes, who would be delighted to help you help us.
